Welcome to the Cedar Mountain Perennials site. We hope to keep you updated with the latest happenings at the nursery including upcoming sales, new plants, and other services.
Cedar Mountain Perennials is owned by Bob and Jill Wilson.
Bob has an extensive background in botany and horticulture with a bachelors degrees in both from Oregon State University. He has a master's degree in Entomology from the University of California at Berkeley. Bob has worked in a variety of horticultural settings. He was the Plant Propagator for the Arboretum and Flagstaff, founded and owned Sinagua Nursery in Flagstaff, and most recently was the Extension Educator for Horticulture in the four northern counties in Idaho. He is a Certified Nursery Professional as well as Plant Diagnostician. He has held strong interests in native plant identification, propagation, and growing for many years.
Jill has a background in Forestry, Forest Entomology and Pathology. She has an undergraduate degree in Forestry from the University of California Berkeley and a Ph.D in Entomology also from Berkeley. She worked for nearly 20 years with the US Forest Service as an Entomologist, first in Flagstaff, AZ and most recently in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. She shares the family love of native plants and has been an avid gardener and photographer.
